Well now that it’s official, I can talk more about our experience.
A group of about 5 PPM Certified dentist from all over the country met in September to fit the New Orleans Saints. It was a great experience. As with anything, they were at first skeptical, but after we fit them and went through a series of tests they were really excited. I noticed some of the players that originally didn’t want to get fitted were lining up later to start the process. The players were great and really could see how the differences can help them in the game.
The more PPMs I do, the more see how minor changes in bite position can dramatically effect performance. These players know their bodies so well. It is great using the computer equipment to help the athletes see where their bite is the best. No guessing.
